Megami Tensei QIX Persona 3 is a mobile-only tie in game between the Qix series and the Persona series. This entry unusually combines the title of Persona 3 with its parent franchise Megami Tensei. Originally released for the Megaten α platform, it has seen other releases through the Yahoo S! and EZWeb applications.

Gameplay elements contain a series of Persona 3 enemies, music, and background images.

Gameplay

Gameplay is similar to standard Qix play—players aim to capture segments of the playfield while avoiding enemies.

The standard threshold for level completion is much higher than other titles, requiring an 80% threshold capture to complete a level, and 86% to unlock a new background image.

Several power-ups exist in the form of colored cards:

  • Red cards will increase the player's Marker speed.
  • Blue cards will decrease the speed of all enemies
  • Yellow cards grant the player an extra life.

Scoring

There is no traditional point-based scoring. Instead, score is determined by the threshold's completion and time spent to reach it.
