The Sony PlayStation is a console released by Sony in the year 1994. It was their first major foray into the video game market and was a strong competitor to the Nintendo 64 and Sega Dreamcast. The PlayStation features three major games for Qix, including Qix 2000, Qix Neo, and Battle Qix. The primary success of the console was in Japan, and as such, only Qix Neo was released outside of the region.
